Taktasheva is a surface pattern designer, known professionally as Maria Galybina. Her artistic style is vibrant, bohemian, natural, and colorful, often featuring abundant floral motifs, tropical plants, and wild animals. Her primary focus is on creating seamless, vector patterns, though she also enjoys creating abstract prints. As a designer, she loves experimenting with styles, textures, and color combinations, which allows her style to continually evolve. Taktasheva’s journey in art and design began in childhood, spending much of her time sketching clothes for paper dolls and designing their interiors. She also attended an art school and then studied graphic design at university. After graduating, she spent several years exploring different paths until 2012 when she began creating illustrations and selling them on various platforms. Her business eventually grew to include commissions, collaborations, and licensing agreements with companies worldwide. Taktasheva’s mission as a designer is to bring more nature and aesthetics into people’s lives through her designs. She strives to create small accent pieces that capture attention and add a touch of nature’s beauty and joy to everyday life.
