Edulescu is a professional full-time artist specializing in impasto palette knife oil paintings. Her style blends textural impressionism and abstract figuration, influenced by expressionism and fauvism. Painting has been a constant in her life since childhood. Growing up in a family where drawing and painting were normal, she learned from her parents and grandparents and practiced almost daily. Her work, particularly the Abstract Cityscapes series, is inspired by her travels across Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, and Northern Africa, where she observes urban landscapes and architectural patterns. In addition to cityscapes, she paints florals, animals, landscapes, portraits, and non-objective abstracts. A defining feature of her process is the use of thick textures and vibrant colors to convey exuberance, vibrancy, and joy. Over 500 of her paintings are held in private and corporate collections worldwide.
