After completing a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Illustration in 2014, she immediately launched her career as a freelance artist. Simpson’s inspiration comes from nature, animals, and folklore. Her extensive portfolio includes illustrating over twenty children’s books and collaborating with a wide array of clients, such as Disney-Pixar, HarperCollins Publishers, Igloo, MacMillan, Scholastic, Oxford University Press, Highlights Magazine, Cambridge University Press, and many more. Beyond illustration, Simpson has also worked as a concept artist for KeyFrame Animation on multiple children’s TV shows.
