Maclean is a digital artist who creates artwork full of vibrant colors, breathtaking scenery, and idyllic charm. He was born an artist. His mother had picked him up after his first day of school and took him directly to an art supply store. She had seen what he had created in class and knew he must pursue this talent. Maclean practiced traditional art for over twenty-five years before becoming a digital artist. He realized all the things he could do with brush and canvas he could do in a program, using the same techniques but with a much larger palette and with more layering. After years of owning and operating an art gallery chain, Maclean sold the business in 2015 to become a full-time artist. Now he is represented by one of the world’s leading art licensing agencies and has quickly become one of their most requested artists. Maclean’s artwork can be found on a broad range of products at retail locations throughout the world.
