Lypiridou is a visual artist, painter, and printmaker who creates semi-abstract, mixed media artworks that explore themes of ephemerality, the fluidity of the human experience, and the complexity of nature. She works with layers upon layers of acrylic, oil, wax, and other materials, scraping and reapplying color multiple times, creating a dialogue between texture, color, and pattern. Her works invite the viewer to look to a place within and respond to the picture in terms of their own lived experience.
Lypiridou has expended substantial time, money, and other resources in developing, advertising, and otherwise promoting the Margarita Lypiridou Works. As a result, products associated with the Margarita Lypiridou Works are recognized and exclusively associated by consumers, the public, and the trade as products authorized by Plaintiff (the “Margarita Lypiridou Products”).
