She has also been commissioned for graphic design work for individuals and companies. Beside her artistic talent, Orcutt also consistently promotes art related activities, including hosting a biannual arts festival since 1994. She also owned an international candle company with her husband for over twelve years before selling it. In 2011, Orcutt started her career as a full-time artist with a publisher. Since then she has published hundreds of her designs and has licensed them to companies for use on journals, pillows, calendars, and mugs.
