Plaintiff, SOPHIE MARGARET CORRIGAN, is the owner of the Copyright Registrations that protect the creative content of the Sophie Corrigan Works. Plaintiff is a freelance illustrator and children’s book author. Plaintiff has been an artist since 2010, following a bachelor’s degree in illustration and a master’s degree in children’s book illustration. During her university years, Corrigan began selling her artwork through platforms such as Redbubble and Etsy. Now, Plaintiff’s work has reached a global audience through illustrated children’s books that have been translated into multiple languages, as well as the many pet portraits she has been commissioned to create over the years. Corrigan has expended substantial time, money, and other resources in developing, advertising, and otherwise promoting the Sophie Corrigan Works. As a result, products associated with the Sophie Corrigan Works are recognized and exclusively associated by consumers, the public, and the trade as products authorized by Plaintiff (the “Sophie Corrigan Products”). https://www.redbubble.com/people/SophieCorrigan/shop? Plaintiff is the owner of the United States Copyright Registrations that cover the Sophie Corrigan Works. The Registrations are valid, subsisting, and in full force and effect. Upon information and belief, Defendants facilitate sales by designing the Defendant Internet Stores so that they appear to unknowing consumers to be authorized online retailers, outlet stores, or wholesalers selling genuine Sophie Corrigan Products. Plaintiff has invested substantial time, money, and effort in building up and developing consumer awareness, goodwill, and recognition in the Sophie Corrigan Works. The success of the Sophie Corrigan Works is due in large part to Plaintiff’s marketing, promotional, and distribution efforts. As a result of Plaintiff’s efforts, the quality of the Sophie Corrigan Products, the promotional efforts for Plaintiff’s products and designs, press and media coverage, and social media coverage, members of the public have become familiar with the Sophie Corrigan Works and associate them…
