Hie initially studied Labor and Organizational Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. After graduating, he worked for two years at a burnout clinic as an assessment psychologist, but he never stopped drawing, painting, and creating. After completing several art commissions, his passion for art was too great not to take a chance at being a full-time professional digital artist. Over his career, his work has been used by numerous companies worldwide on a variety of products, such as mobile phone accessories, decals, posters, canvas prints, book covers, and apparel. Over three million shirts featuring his prints have been sold.
